Happy Easter!

Stopping to take a quick picture this Easter...this will be our last Easter just the two of us (well, three if you count Abee!)

Vestavia Baseball

Over Spring Break, Dal's team traveled to play ball. We don't get to go to the beach like other teams :( but we did travel to Sweet Water, AL (smallest town I've ever seen!) and also to Meridian, MS. Here's a few pictures of the team throughout the season so far.

Too cute!!

At Cottontails Village, we found so many cute things for Cole, that my head was spinning!!! Anyway, I ordered these cute waterproof stickers and I just love them! I really liked the idea of personalizing his bottles, cups, etc...and it looks sooo cute! The girl I ordered them from is local and has GREAT prices on very cute things.

It isn't the greatest picture, but you get the idea. He isn't shy about facing the camera! If you are somewhat familiar with looking at ultrasounds, you'll see that he's facing the camera and...you can even see his eye socket!

My mom went to my Dr.'s appointment with me this past Thursday and it was her first time to EVER see an ultrasound....she was more excited than words can describe and alllll smiles (any of you who know my mom can imagine her excitement).

Notice that Abee is at the bottom of the picture looking up at us like "hey guys, I'm tired of ya'll forgetting bout' me!!"




Our parents are all smiles after unloading some of Cole's furniture...now we just have to get those walls painted!!

20 week belly pic....1/2 way there!

I've been feeling Cole move around pretty frequently over the past week. Some days I wake up and think "how can my belly get bigger than this!?!?", but realistically I know that I have a long way to go!! I think this will be my last bare belly picture :)

Cole's first gifts

I couldn't help but buy a few things for Cole. Apparently, neither could his grandparents :) Cole also got a cute bath toy from his Uncle Brent and a Baby Einstein book from his Aunt Jill. Oh! Also, when we found out that we were pregnant, my mom bought a cute neutral outfit to give a boy or a girl....sorry I forgot to take pictures of those, but I'm sure there will be others to capture on camera!!

First gifts from grandparents Ellis and Davis...as you can see, they bought the same "Dad's Team" outfit that I did, but thankfully one has long pants and is a larger size :) The cute snuggly blanket also plays "Jesus Loves Me"...so cute!!!! (of course Abee didn't want to feel left out, so she jumped in the picture too!)

IT'S A.......

BOY!!!!! We went for an ultrasound today at Virginia College and found out that we are going to have a little boy!! We plan on naming him Asa "Cole" Davis. He's being named after his daddy (Asa "Dal") and other men in the Davis family. Naturally, I went out and bought all sorts of cute blue things. Now let's just hope the technician didn't mistake his boy part for the cord or something :) We can't wait for Cole's arrival!!!

Pink or Blue ???....hopefully we'll soon know!

We are hoping to find out what we are having soon! It's been fun to see what everyone votes for on the poll. I've always pictured us with a little boy, but some of my closest friends think it's a girl, so who knows! Dal thinks it's a girl too. Ultimately, of course, we just want a healthy baby!!
